ARCOGEM srl, a spin-off of the University of Bari, has grown out of the in-depth research experience gained by experts within the Department of Geo-Mineralogy, carried out with non-invasive and non-destructive instruments on ornamental and gemmological materials.

The organization carries out research aimed at the technology transfer to relevant key-players in the sector, public and private organisations, higher education and training institutes, ranging from an amateur collector level to specialized training and research.
